23. Tania, warrior princess, isn't dirty

X was a term coined after the Korean War to describe the mental states of American PoWs who had spent a long time in Chinese concentration camps. It is supposedly comprised of several elements like assault on identity, isolation, guilt and confession. Y is an American heiress and actress who, at the age of 19, was kidnapped and tortured by the Symbionese Liberation Army and ended up joining them in a bank robbery, for which reason she is said to be one of the most famous victims of Stockholm syndrome, as well as X.

Z, Y's father, was a publishing magnate whose circulation wars involving barely-researched sensationalist reporting with W, who also established a reputed literary award, led to the coining of the term 'yellow journalism'. When J, a 1941 movie directed by K, partially inspired by his life but portraying him in a rather grim light was about to be released, he tried to sue the distributors and stop the film from coming out, but was unsuccessful. Besides being one of the greatest directors ever, K is known for being the narrator of the famous panic-inducing radio broadcast of War of the Worlds.

X, Y, Z, W, J, K?
