Design of X also called "blade of light", was decided by a competition organized in 1996 by Southwark council. Londoners nicknamed X the "Wobbly _____" after it displayed the phenomenon of Synchronous Lateral Excitation on the first two days of its limited access to public, after which it was closed for nearly 2 years. X has featured in pop culture in movies like '28 weeks later' and 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' (and TV shows like Spooks, Ugly Betty and Ashes to Ashes). Give me X.
